The National Center for Pyramid Model Innovations (NCPMI) is pleased to announce the application process for our third cohort of Fellows. This fellowship will focus on issues related to equity, diversity, and social justice as they intersect with Pyramid Model Implementation. We strongly encourage scholars who are multilingual; racially, ethnically, and culturally diverse; and/or individuals with disabilities who provide services to children with disabilities. Fellows will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of activities including, but not limited to, developing materials, providing training, summarizing research, collaborating on research activities, and developing policy materials. Each fellow will be matched with a center faculty who will serve as their mentor and collaborator. The fellow and mentor will create a professional development plan based on the fellow’s goals.
Accepted fellows will be invited to attend and be introduced at our yearly National Training Institute (NTI) in Tampa, FL. Travel stipends will be provided.

Fellows will be mentored for 2 years.
Yes, you might be matched to another mentor but your interests will be considered in the process of matching mentors and fellows. Once accepted, we will send you an email with the mentor match and ask you to respond with an acceptance. You may choose whether or not to participate at that point.
Fellows will work with their NCPMI mentor from a distance and will not be expected to relocate.
This is not designed to take the place of your current work or the mentorship from your doctoral program advisor. This fellowship will provide you additional assistance/opportunities/support for experiences and activities related to the Pyramid Model.
No, there is no financial award involved in this.
We will have monthly web meetings for the entire group (1.5 hours). You and your mentor also will have regular conference calls to develop your professional development plan, work on the activities outlined in your plan, and identify other supports and opportunities. This work should enhance your scholarly goals and provide you with opportunities that will be helpful in your ongoing academic/research career aspirations. If you are in a doctoral program and you do not intend to include Pyramid Model work in your research or program activities, it would be best to wait until you have completed your program to apply to be a fellow.
