Dameri Watson, M.S., is a Senior Research Associate at the University of Denver. Her work primarily focuses on partnering with leaders and providers in states, communities, and local programs to co-create and sustain high-quality inclusive experiences that welcome and support every young child and family. Early in her career, Dameri worked as an Early Childhood Special Education teacher in an inclusive preschool supporting young children’s social and emotional development. She also spent years as a practitioner coach utilizing practice-based coaching and supporting teams through the Prevent-Teach-Reinforce for Young Children process. All these experiences provide Dameri with a strong understanding of Pyramid Model implementation. In her work, past, present and future, Dameri is committed to increasing spaces where every young child and family experience belonging.
