The Pyramid Model is comprised of practices that are implemented by teachers and families.  Below are ideas, resources, and illustrations of strategies that might be used to implement Pyramid Model practices and promote young children\u2019s social and emotional competence in a classroom setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teaching Social-Emotional Skills<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Social-emotional skills can be categorized into four types: behavior regulation, friendship skills, emotional literacy, and problem-solving skills.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
