The video is useful demystifying coaching for classroom teachers.

This professionally crafted video provides the perspective of a parent in sharing the story of the positive impact of Pyramid Model practices in building social and emotional skills for their child. It shares the perspective of the classroom teacher and highlights Pyramid Model practices in action.

This 12-minute professionally crafted video blends video perspective from directors, teachers, families, and state coordinators to provide evidence for, an overview of and examples in action of program wide implementation of the Pyramid Model framework.

This is the Rooted in Relationships Annual Evaluation Report for 2022. Rooted in Relationships is an initiative in Nebraska funded through a public-private partnership that enhances the social emotional development of children 0 – 8 years. This is done, in part, by assisting Nebraska communities with Pyramid Model implementation with their community child care providers. Rooted in Relationships also works with state partners through Department of Health and Human Services as well as Department of Education to establish infrastructure and sustain systems for supporting the early childhood and mental health workforce.

Here is an example of a chartering document for a state leadership team from Oklahoma. It includes mission, vision, values; purpose, organization, roles and responsibilities, committee structure and teaming norms. Helps to address State BOQ elements 1, 2, 4, and 9 (sort of).

In December of 2022, our state’s SLT reviewed and ratified Maryland’s first Annual Pyramid Model Report focused on 2021 activities.

This document is a quick two-page read that provides answers to those who have questions about what the Pyramid Model teaches and why it’s important to teach in child care settings. Nebraska’s Pyramid State Leadership Team wants to make sure everyone understands the importance of promoting young children’s social emotional development.

Oklahoma’s Pyramid Model Newsletter has five main components: a featured Evidence-based Practice, Implementation highlights (next steps), Celebrations, Upcoming Professional Development & Opportunities, and Positive Tips & Tricks. This newsletter provides consistent universal support to all of Oklahoma’s Part C implementation sites. It also provides an opportunity for Part C implementation sites to be recognized and celebrated as they journey through the process. The newsletter will be used as an exploration tool as new Part C sites consider participation in the Pyramid Model.

The NH cohort of PB coaches and administrators developed this document to support the growing cadre of internal TPITOS and TPOT administrators with guidance that supports consistency in administration statewide.

Teaching Pyramid Observational Tool What to Expect: Many of our teachers were nervous and concerned about being observed, so we worked with Anna Winneker, University of South Florida to create an information video for teachers.

Idaho created an implementation guide to assist programs in understanding the project expectation, data collection, and professional development opportunities. This document is also helpful when recruiting programs.

The NH practice-based coaching cohort developed this guide to accompany the dissemination of the Pyramid Model Preschool Classroom Kits and Unpacking the Pyramid Model books to implementation sites statewide. Kits and books will be the property of the sites/programs and used by practitioners engaged in coaching.

Executive Summary for Annual Evaluation Report-Current

This NH Pyramid Model Collaborative E-Newsletter specifically outlines Statewide collaborative efforts to provide information and resources on the Pyramid Model in New Hampshire. Each month we will share Pyramid Model professional development opportunities and highlight various agencies, organizations, and coalitions implementing the Pyramid Model including child care centers, family child care homes, school districts, home visiting programs, family resource centers, and higher education.

Rooted in Relationships is an initiative in Nebraska that focuses on 0-8 social emotional development, a big portion of what we do involves implementing the Pyramid Model in Child Care Centers and Homes. We also collaborate as a co-lead on the PSLT. Our annual report demonstrates the effectiveness of the Pyramid Model in our initiative and also focuses on some of the infrastructure building that we support to promote the Pyramid Model in Nebraska.

This report was written by the Communication/PR Workgroup of the NH Pyramid Model SLT. It provides an overview of the Leadership Team’s representation and the work accomplished 2019-2020.

This video was created to support administrators and/or veteran Pyramid Model sites who have not started PTR-YC, in order to help them understand the value that PTR-YC could bring to their program and next steps they might want to consider.

The Communication/PR workgroup of the NH PM SLT created this tip sheet, “What is the Pyramid Model?” to introduce family members and others to the purpose and process of Pyramid Model implementation.

Attached is the MN Pyramid Model Executive Summary for the 2018-2019 school year. We are excited to share statewide Pyramid Model growth, testimonials from a family and practitioners, as well as a data story to support data use at the program and statewide levels.

We are in process of reworking our Wisconsin Pyramid Model webpages as part of the Wisconsin Alliance for Infant Mental Health website. We are reviewing our documents and materials and will have more resources to share once our expanded team is up and running …and maybe able to actually meet in person.

This is the WI PM 2019 Annual Report. Given the current circumstances, we created a condensed report that highlights priorities for reinvigorating and beginning to scale up with our renewed funding in August 2019.

This report reflects the technical assistance and training efforts in NC regarding Part B 619 program planning priorities. The Pyramid Model implementation has had significant impact on classroom practice and child outcomes.

In 2015, the Safe Schools Healthy Students Department of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction contracted with researchers at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater to consider whether or not the implementation of Pyramid Model practices was related to differences in teachers’ use of evidence-based practices in the classroom. Additionally, the evaluation considered whether or not the use of Pyramid Model practices was related to differences in students’ social and emotional behaviors as well as their early literacy skills. The results of this external evaluation demonstrated significantly more use of the evidence based practices in classrooms implementing as part of program wide implementation, as well as very significant gains (Fall to Spring) in social and emotional development and reduction of behavioral concerns for children who presented with the most concern in the Fall. Children with the greatest social and emotional concern in the Fall showed statistically significant effect in early comprehension skill than those students in the comparison classrooms. This evaluation has been instrumental in advocating for continued expansion of Wisconsin’s Pyramid Model efforts.

This tip sheet was developed by the Communication/PR workgroup, with input from the SLT to support families’ understanding of the Pyramid Model. It was developed in collaboration with iSocial, our state’s SPDG which is focused on improving social-emotional outcomes of infants, toddlers and young children with disabilities (birth to age 5) through the implementation of the evidence-based Pyramid Model Framework. The distribution plan is being developed and will include at a minimum participants in Positive Solutions for Families. It will also be used to introduce child care teachers and directors to Pyramid Model. Other potential recipients include State Legislators, Commissioners, State-level department heads, Family Resource Centers and implementation sites’ administration to build awareness and buy-in for Pyramid Model implementation.

Wisconsin’s State Leadership Team has been working to build infrastructure and capacity for programs, sites, classrooms and providers to implement evidence based practices with fidelity since 2009. Our 2018 Annual Report provides 2018 highlights, and outlines how expanding support for Statewide Pyramid Model work can address specific needs in Wisconsin.

This resource illustrates how state leadership teams can support statewide implementation of the Pyramid Model.  New York’s Pyramid Model State Leadership Team developed this Program-Wide Implementation guide to promote the statewide use of the Pyramid Model in all child-serving settings. The guide provides an overview of the implementation process, including formation of leadership teams, training, coaching, and data collection. Additionally, a wide range of tools and resources to assist leadership teams during all stages of implementation are linked within the guide.
